ヨーロッパ キルトフェスティバル入選展示されました。
今期イギリスのバーミンガムで行われたヨーロッパでも最大と言われるキルトフェスティバルで日本人のArt名古屋所属 磯村恵子さんが入選展示されました。
このフェステバルには世界中から アマ、プロ問わず沢山の作家さんが参加します 磯村恵子さんはアメリカヒューストンで行われたWorld quilt展でも入選を果たしています キルトと言えば海外での制作センス特にハワイアンキルトが有名ですね。
そんな中アートキルト部門で海外の作家さんに引けを取らないデザインセンスと一針一針手で縫い込んでいく高い技術が世界で認められました。

Keiko Isomura, a Japanese artist affiliated with Art Nagoya, had her work selected for exhibition at the quilt festival held in Birmingham, UK—an event renowned as the largest of its kind in Europe. This festival attracts numerous artists from around the globe, ranging from amateurs to professionals. Ms. Isomura has previously achieved success at the World Quilt Show in Houston, USA. While international styles—particularly Hawaiian quilts—are often what come to mind when one thinks of quilting, Ms. Isomura has gained global recognition in the "Art Quilt" category. Her work stands shoulder-to-shoulder with that of international artists, showcasing a sophisticated design sensibility and exceptional craftsmanship, with every stitch meticulously sewn by hand.
