イラストレーション描くにはデッサンは大切

デフォルメを施されたイラストなどを見てもらうと、一見、陰影表現を主としているデッサンは重要では無いと思われがちではあります。しかし、現段階において世の中のほとんどの完成されたイラストというのはデッサンをきちんと成されているものであって、口を挟む隙間が無い程完成されていると言えます。それはたとえ３頭身などといったデフォルメされたキャラクターだとしてもデッサンの基本的な概念を抑えた上での表現領域となっています。

基本的な造形を理解出来ていないうちからデフォルメされたキャラクターを描くという事は、あくまでも表面的なデザインとなってしまいます。

例えば、物体の影の付き方を理解していないにもかかわらずイラストを描く事によって絵に統一感がなされなくなってしまう事に繋がりかねません。人物で言えば、骨や筋肉の付き方がおかしくて無理な方向に腕が曲がってしまっていたりと悲惨な結果に成りかねない事になってしまいますね。

デッサンを理解するという事は言い換えると科学的な観点からのアプローチを施していくという事で、それは表現される絵の説得力を上げる事にも繋がっていきます。

When you look at deformed illustrations, you may think that drawing, which is mainly focused on shading, is not important. However, at this stage, most completed illustrations in the world are well-drawn and complete, leaving no room for comment. Even if the character is deformed, such as a three-headed figure, it is an expressional range that has been mastered by mastering the basic concepts of drawing.

Drawing a deformed character before you understand the basic shapes will result in a superficial design.

For example, drawing an illustration without understanding how shadows are applied to objects can lead to a lack of unity in the picture. For example, if the bones and muscles are attached strangely and the arms are bent in an unnatural direction, the result can be disastrous.

Understanding drawing means, in other words, approaching it from a scientific point of view, which also leads to increasing the persuasiveness of the picture being expressed.

デッサンと聞いただけで逃げたくなる、できれば避けて通りたいと思う方が、多くいると思います　デッサンはセオリー通りに描くものだと思っている方が多いのですが、受験デッサンなどとちがって、自分のスキルアップのために描く場合はもっと自由に描いていいと言えます。

デッサンにはものつくりの基礎が詰まっていますただ単にきれいに描けている　陰影がうまく描けているも大切ですが、何を見せたいかそのためのバランス、構図はこれでいいか　どのように画面を作り上げていくか・・・等がデッサンにはたくさん詰まっています。

デッサン力がある事で、より「自然」な表現をする事が出来、かつ多くの人の支持、納得を得られるような絵作りをする事が出来ますす。

デッサンを理解するという事は言い換えるとその物、描く物を科学的な観点からのアプローチを施していくという事で、それは表現される絵の説得力を上げる事にも繋がっていきます。

デッサンを練習して表現力、観察力を鍛えることで　デッサン以外の作品を作ったときも、作品の善し悪しの判断ができるようになります。

観察力とクオリティの判断力が相まって、自分の作品でも他人の作品でも関係なく、客観的な視点で判断することが可能になります。紙と鉛筆だけでスタートできるデッサンは手軽な練習のひとつです。かけた時間だけ自分を裏切らないのがデッサンのいいところです。
